Paid parking in Zoutelande?

From March 1st to October 31st, there is paid parking in Zoutelande.
If you are staying at Duinpark, Bungalowpark or Residence Houtenburg, you will receive an e-mail with more information before your arrival.

Parking in the parking lot next to the reception is FREE for the first hour.
Press the green button at the bottom of the parking machine. See the ticket machine.

What will happen with the things I have forgotten after check-out?

We can send you forgotten items.
The cost of sending the items + € 10,- handling fee will be charged to you or deducted from the deposit.
The storage of items in the office is only possible for a short period of time.

What is the minimum age to make a reservation?

The minimum age for a booking is 25 years.
As each accommodation we rent out belongs to a private owner, (groups of) young people are not allowed.

Is it possible to make a pre-reservation for next year?

No, unfortunately this is not possible as each accommodation belongs to a private owner.
The owners will be contacted to find out whether the accommodation can be rented out again and when the accommodation itself will be in private use again.
Only when this is known, in mid-November, do we start making bookings for next year.

Is there a swimming pool at the park?

No, there is no swimming pool at the vacation parks.
However, you can buy tickets for the swimming pool de Parel in Domburg at a reduced price at our reception.

Is there a supermarket at the park?

No, there is no supermarket in the vacation parks. There is also no bread delivery service.
There is a JUMBO supermarket near Zoutelande, as well as a bicycle rental shop and an ATM.
Parking at JUMBO is free for the first hour.
However, you must take a ticket from the machine by pressing the GREEN BUTTON!
This allows you to park for 1 hour free of charge. As soon as you pay at the machine, you also pay for the first hour.
Always place this ticket behind the windshield of your car.

There are also supermarkets in Westkapelle and Koudekerke.
ALDI, LIDL and Albert Heijn XL can be found in Middelburg and Vlissingen.

Stay

Where can I charge my electric car?

A few homes have a charging station that you can use to charge your car when you rent that house.
It is not allowed to charge your car through the house itself, this also at the charge of the fire department.

On the public parking lots in Zoutelande you will find several charging stations, please note; you may have to pay a parking fee.

Are the bungalows and apartments located near the beach?

All apartments are near the beach and sea.

Can we rent sheets and towels?

It is possible to rent linen packages for single beds (comforter cover, pillowcase, fitted sheet) for € 11,- per package. 
The beds are not made up, unfortunately it is not possible to order this.
We do not have double linen packages or linen for a crib.

It is also possible to rent a towel package (bath towel and hand towel) for € 8,- per package. 
A kitchen package (1 tea towel and 1 kitchen towel) can be rented for € 8,- per package.

Do the holiday homes offer free WiFi?

Yes, all of the properties we rent out have free Wi-Fi.

What is included in the rental price?

The rental price includes energy, final cleaning and administration costs.
Additional costs are the tourist tax (€ 2,10 p.p.p.n.) and a deposit of €100,- (exception: branding 26).


Optional additional costs are e.g.
- Bed linen package € 12,- per package 
- Towel package € 8,- per package 
- Kitchen package € 8,- per package
- Pet charge € 9,- per day
- Bollercar (€ 4,- per day/€ 20,- per week)
- Cot/chair/playpen (€ 10,- per item per weekend/short week/week)

What are the arrival and departure times?

You can check in on Fridays between 15:30 and 17:30 and on Mondays between 15:00 and 17:00.
During vacation periods and in high season you can check in on Fridays from 15:30 to 19:00.
Departure is between 09:00 and 10:30 after check- out (the exact check- out time will be discussed at check-in).

Terms and conditions

When will my deposit be refunded?

The deposit will be transferred back to you within 2 weeks. See also article 16 of our rental conditions. 

Where can I find the rental conditions?

What are the terms of payment?

When booking an apartment, the pre-payment is 50% of the booking amount. The remaining 50% and the deposit must be in the possession of Kustlicht Zeeland Vakanties at least 4 weeks before arrival. 
For bookings made at short notice, the full amount must be paid immediately. 
Unfortunately, payment by credit card is not possible. 
If the deposit (after deduction of any costs) is exceeded, an additional payment will of course be required.

What are your conditions regarding COVID-19 for 2023/2024 ?

Additional rental conditions 2024/2025 due to COVID-19 or another epidemic

In the event of a cancellation or early departure, no refund will be made in accordance with our rental conditions. We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance for unforeseen circumstances.

For the year 2024/2025 our normal rental conditions apply to every booking.

The current situation regarding the COVID-19 virus is now known to everyone. In the meantime, since April 2020, every guest knows the situation and can decide for themselves when booking that the risk this time lies with the guest.

For this reason, we unfortunately cannot accept requests for exceptions to the cancellation conditions, even if the situation arises that guests prefer not to travel and/or there is a negative travel advice and/or a quarantine obligation on arrival and/or return that applies on the day of the start of the rental and has been officially set by the Dutch or foreign government.

We only make one exception:
In the event of an official closure of Kustlicht Zeeland Vakanties, you can rebook once in the current calendar year free of charge. If the cost of the new contract/booking is higher than the original booking, you will have to pay the difference. If the rental period of your booking has already started, the above applies to the remaining days of your vacation.

If a rebooking is not possible, you will be refunded the amount paid minus € 50.00 processing and handling fee.
A voucher / credit note is only possible if Kustlicht Zeeland Vakanties does this itself and not at the request of the tenant.

What are the cancellation conditions?

In the event of cancellation or early departure, there is no refund according to our rental conditions. We recommend that you have cancellation insurance for unforeseen circumstances.

If you have already paid the full amount, the deposit, tourist tax and any additional costs will be refunded.
